Kassidy is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT# 141626) devoted to supporting individuals, teens, and families in their journey towards emotional well-being and healthier relationships. Kassidy earned her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and her master's degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

For Kassidy, growing up in Orange County cultivated her passion for sports, particularly soccer, and allowed her to develop essential life skills through the realm of sports, such as the ability to navigate life's challenges. Being an athlete became a tool for personal growth, resilience, and coping with the ups and downs of life. Kassidy continued to pursue her athletic ambitions at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. As a student-athlete at SM, she secured a scholarship to play collegiate soccer in the Division I Big Ten conference at Northwestern University.

Kassidy's journey towards becoming a therapist commenced during her time as a student-athlete at Northwestern University. Balancing the demands of athletics and academics highlighted the importance of prioritizing mental health. Inspired by this personal experience and motivated to de-stigmatize mental health, Kassidy pursued and achieved her master's degree.

Kassidy has gained valuable experience working with children at a nonprofit agency in Orange, as well in the intensive outpatient (IOP) setting at Hoag, where she provided support and education to teenagers and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.

 Kassidy integrates various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), to provide the best care for each client’s unique needs. By utilizing these approaches, she aims to empower clients with practical tools and insights to overcome challenges, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and cultivate meaningful connections.
